A connection position now requires continuing evidence
A Gate 2 offer is not the end of the process. Projects must continue to manage project-specific milestones, supporting evidence, planning and land positions, construction commitments and changes in the governing framework.
The necessary information rarely sits in one place. It may be divided between the connection agreement, milestone schedule, internal trackers, advisers, planning systems, company records and later correspondence. Public records and private documents can drift apart without anyone noticing until the moment it matters.
During the design-partner stage, Cairnel creates a scoped baseline and tests how a controlled evidence record should be maintained around that connection position.

Establish the contractual baseline
Cairnel records the project identity, Gate 2 offer, milestone schedule, capacity, technology, connection point and relevant project-specific requirements from information supplied by the customer.
Reconcile the external evidence
Cairnel connects the contractual project to published connection, planning, corporate, environmental and delivery evidence across the Cairnel graph. Discrepancies are flagged immediately.
Monitor obligations and discrepancies
The scoped review tests approaching milestone dates, accepted public changes and inconsistencies between the contracted project and the wider evidence record. Live regulatory monitoring is not yet included.
Maintain the assurance record
The design partner receives an agreed baseline and trial outputs. Ongoing chronology, discrepancy alerts and portfolio reporting are validated and priced during the engagement rather than promised as an established service.
